Your Data
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Red Leaf Wallet (“we”, “us”, redleafwallet.com) respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit this site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect very little, we never sell personal data, and you never need to hand us sensitive financial details to use this site.
What we collect
- Basic visit data. Like almost every website, our hosting and performance systems automatically record technical details such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and visit time. This helps the site load fast, stay secure, and show us which guides are useful.
- Email address — only if you give it. If you sign up for our checklist or newsletter, we store the email you provide. That’s the only personal detail we ever ask for.
- Messages you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
What we never collect
- We never ask for your passport, study permit, banking credentials, card numbers, or any application details. Applications for financial products happen on the bank’s own website, never on ours.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that help a site function. We use them for essential site performance (such as caching, which makes pages load faster) and, in future, for basic analytics that show us anonymous usage patterns. If we introduce advertising or analytics cookies that require consent under applicable laws, we will update this page and request consent where required. You can block or delete cookies anytime in your browser settings.
Affiliate links and third parties
Some links on this site take you to banks and financial companies (see our Affiliate Disclosure). Once you leave redleafwallet.com, that company’s own privacy policy applies — we encourage you to read it before submitting any application. Affiliate partners may use cookies to record that your visit came from our site; this does not give us access to your personal or application data.
Where your data lives
This site is hosted on secure servers with SSL encryption (the padlock in your browser). Email subscriptions are stored with our email service provider and are protected by their security measures. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it to us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under Canada’s PIPEDA and the EU’s GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can always contact us to request access or deletion — we respond to all requests.
Children
This site is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, when we add analytics or new features — we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
